Walt Owens founded Owens Precision, Inc. in 1978 to provide the finest quality, most up-to-date contract manufacturing services available. Owens Precision, Inc. keeps pace with current machining technology. We do this with an ongoing investment in the equipment, software and expertise that make innovation possible. For medical, high-tech, and emerging industries, there’s no better or more qualified source for contract manufacturing than Owens Precision, Inc. 1978 witnessed the founding of Owens Precision in Carson City, Nevada. 1979 we found it necessary to move from our small location to a new facility on Deer Run Road. Continuing to grow from 1,200 sq-ft and five employees to 9,000 sq-ft and 20 employees, it was necessary for us to move once again. 1997 We then built our own 20,000 sq-ft facility. 2001 We added another facility increasing our capabilities and adding an additional 10,000 square feet. 2007 We added another 9,000 sq-ft facility housing our swiss department making room for on-site assembly work Owens Precision, Inc. now employs over 50 people, and we are situated in an industrial park with ample acreage for future expansion to support all your machining needs.
